The Crooked Line I Walk

So I was at my friend James' house watching the final episode of The Almighty Johnsons.

Much fun and hilarity was had. And much booze drunken.

Drunken being the operative word.

Now I know James has been a fan of my drunken walks home and the photographs I invariably take on these stumbling journeys. So I'm sure he will be delighted to know that a party at his home has initiated yet another of my crooked paths.

Usually I don't get to see these pictures until the next day so I have no answers for you as to why these images took my fancy - they just do.

Drunken Nick, it seems, fancies himself as a bit of a photographer. He isn't he's a monstrous bore who always leaves the bathroom in a terrible state and has an unquenchable appetite for kebabs.

So here, once again for your enjoyment, yet another of my drunken strolls...

Couch blocks traffic

Apparently a couch was blocking the motorway in Wellington yesterday

I can't tell you how much this news delights me. I can neither confirm nor deny that I had anything to do with this.

Couching the Issue

I know this will delight a few of my regular visitors - I've been out spotting abandoned couches again.

Here are some new additions to my catalogue. Enjoy.

It's interesting how often these couches are accompanied by a sigh that says FREE!

I spotted these on a road that regularly has abandoned furniture on it. Some helpful residents had set fire to them. A fate that often befalls furniture left out on the street too long.

I find something sad and strangely beautiful about these two.

The fire got a bit close to the recycling bin which resulted in this interesting cross-section.

Thanks for stopping by I hope your life is richer now.
